Dr. Frank Smith and the students of the Student Managed Investment Fund will be visiting local schools, companies, and college and career fairs to gain interest in our program.  Recent events we have already attended along with upcoming events that we will be participating in for the months of September and October are listed below:

Event:             Tuesday, September 22nd – ArkACRAO College Planning Program: Ouachita Technical College
Time:              9:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Participants:  Dr. Frank Smith, Ben Sivertson, Ben McClean, Isaac Fox
Activities:       Approximately 400 students attended with about 10% filling out the interest cards that were provided.  The group met with administration from four local schools about presenting the SMIF program and scholarship information to their students.

Event:             Tuesday, September 29 – National Park Community College Annual Career Day
Time:              9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Event:             Tuesday, October 13 – Pulaski County Special School District College Fair: Verizon Arena in North Little Rock, AR
Time:              9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
